The new legal floors

Add employer social contributions and no declared cleaner can legally cost less than roughly €18–19 per hour in wage costs alone — before insurance, products, travel and margin.
What it means for your contract
- Expect a ~2.5% increase on hourly rates — most companies pass indexation through, and the sector's collective agreement obliges them to raise wages.
- Suspiciously cheap offers got more suspicious. Anyone charging €15/hour cannot be paying legal wages.
- Multi-year contracts usually contain an indexation clause — check yours before questioning an increase.
