Declare your cleaner in 5 steps

The CCSS simplified procedure for private households takes one form. Declared help protects your cleaner — and unlocks your tax deduction.

  1. 1

Agree the net wage and hours

You declare the NET wage — CCSS derives gross, contributions and the 10% flat tax. Estimate the full cost with our calculator first.

  2. 2

Fill in one form, within 8 days of hiring

The «Déclaration d'une occupation dans un ménage privé» — online via MyGuichet.lu or on paper to the CCSS. You need your cleaner's national ID number (or birth date + ID copy).

  3. 3

    CCSS registers everything

Your cleaner is affiliated to health insurance, pension and accident insurance. You receive a monthly statement of contributions and tax to pay.

  4. 4

    Pay the monthly statement

One payment to CCSS covers social contributions and the 10% flat tax. Keep the statements — they are your proof for the tax deduction.

  5. 5

    End of employment

Send the «déclaration de sortie» when the arrangement ends.
